Veganism has consistently been mocked by the political left as privillaged. Then why aren’t all the privalleged people with wealth beyond the mass majority of vegan’s, vegan? The irony is, if people who can go vegan actually go vegan, that would lead to changes in the food system.

veganism has nothing to do with privillage.
The only reason why these industries exist is from a consumer level.
And it lies to you to make you pay for their exploitation. You don’t want animals to be exploited. I know you don’t. But you like how they taste, because they are categorised as food and propogated as ok. That still might not change the pleasure you experience while eating animal products. Being lied to by big corporations might not be that important to you. And I say might because if you were bothered, there would be no taste delicious enough to turn the head of the anarchist. Not the person who dresses punk, the person who practices anti-establishment. What is resistance without it? Because resistance looks like. many things, it can look like pseudo-acts–action that doesn’t change anything but presents itself as such.
You know what is anti-indigenous? Tokenising the indigienous community as an excuse fro why you choose not to stop eating meat.
Your food does not come from a grocery store, it either comes from the earth, a science lab, or someones body. The grocery store is where we give money to get the product that reached there, completely disassociated from where it came from so that you can access it in an urbanised environment. Your pizza does not come from DoorDash, is not just it’s final pizza form. You have the agency to learn what, and who, your food is. You give your agency away when you know you are given bate, and accept it.
